Dr. Andrich is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has over twenty years of experience treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders. She received her chemistry degree and her doctor of medicine degree in her home state at the University of Nevada. She completed a one-year internship in internal medicine and a three-year general psychiatry residency at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.
In 1995 the Oregon Chapter of the National Alliance of the Mentally Ill (NAMI) awarded Dr. Andrich with the ‘Exemplary Psychiatrist’ award for her work with families of patients with severe mental illnesses. She is a member of the Oregon Medical Association.
Dr. Andrich has practiced in the Portland area since 1995 in a variety of settings and with a diverse group of patients. She is dedicated to helping her patients feel better and achieve their goals. Special interests include women’s mental health, psychopharmacology, pharmacogenetics, cognitive-behavior therapy, healthy nutrition and exercise, building resilience, finding work-life balance, and mental health advocacy.
When not in the office Dr. Andrich enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in her children’s activities, spinning/weight training, walking, going to the beach, researching her family tree, speaking and writing.
